    Day 3 Seoul (B)

Today, get to grips with Korean Wave culture with a full day tour to Nami Island and Petite France from Seoul. Tour the shooting locations of Korean TV dramas and revel in the romance of the landscape. Visit the major filming sites and experience the ever-growing Korean Wave. Nami Island is one of the most famous islands in South Korea for being the filming location of the TV drama “Winter Sonata”. A half-moon island in the middle of the North Han River, it’s also filled with ever-changing seasonal beauty. The road lined with metasequoia trees and snowy landscapes make Nami Island the perfect place to stroll amongst nature. Continue on to Petite France in the heart of the South Korean countryside, where you might be mistaken for stepping into a French village. Enjoy experiencing a French cultural village where you can take beautiful photos before returning to Seoul. The Garden of Morning Calm is 8.5-acre garden, collected over 5, 000 species of plants and flowers including experimental plants and flowers, preserved rare plants, and introduction plants, only 20 minutes’ drive to Petite France. The landscape of the privately owned garden was planned by a professor of floriculture. It looks like a picture out of a fairytale, voted as one of Korea top 50 attractions by CNN in 1996.

    Seoul (B)

Enjoy a day at leisure. Or join an optional tour to see the Boarder between South and North Korea.
Border / DMZ Tour (6 hour):
A truly interesting tour where the historical struggle between communism and the free world can still be seen with one your own eyes. This tour commences with a visit to the Third Tunnel that was discovered between Panmunjeom and Imjingak in June 1978. Because it is located only 44 km from Seoul, the imminent threat to security was far more menacing than with previously discovered tunnels. It runs to a depth of approximately 73 meters underground and two meters high and wide. The accessible length of the tunnel is 1,635 meters long, though the tour does not proceed the entire length. Afterwards the tour will take you to the Dora Observatory, from where you can view the North Korean propaganda village in the DMZ and as far north as the city of Gaeseong, the second largest city of North Korea. After the tour you will be stopped in Amethyst shop then dropped off at City Hall where you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
