    Taipei Arrival

    Arrive at Taipei Airport, where you will be met by a driver and transfer to your hotel.  Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

    Taipei (B)

    After breakfast, pick up for a tour of Taipei city, first stop is Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, an impressive monument in memory of President Chiang Kai-shek, then photo stop at the Grand Hotel Taipei.  Enroute your guide will give a quick introduction of the Presidential Office Building, a symbolic landmark and historical site in Taipei City. Continue to Martyrs’ Shrine, with the guard changing ceremony.  Our last stop is the world-famous National Palace Museum, which has a collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese artifacts and artworks.  Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

    Taipei - Sun Moon Lake (B)

    After breakfast, drive to Sun Moon Lake, situated 762 meters above sea level in Central Taiwan.  Tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple, also known as Literature-Warrior Temple, dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, Holy Monk Shrine and Ci En Pagoda.  Continue Sun Moon Lake, where you’ll explore the attractions in this area to visit to Ita Thao, an indigenous village that offers insights into the culture and lifestyle of the Thao people. Marvel at the grandeur of Ci’en Pagoda, an iconic Sun Moon Lake landmark. Then visit significant temples, Xuanzang Temple, a serene Buddhist sanctuary. Then, your journey takes you to Wenwu Temple. After the tour, enjoy natural hot spring at the hotel.  You can also enjoy the walking trails, biking, hiking, or boating at the lake. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

    Sun Moon Lake - Fo GuaSun Moon Lake - Tainan – Kaohsiung (B)ng Shan - Kaohsiung (B)

    After a delightful breakfast, we will go to Tainan, the oldest city in Taiwan, celebrated for its abundance of historic buildings visiting Fort Zeelandia, we will take a leisurely walk along Anping Old Street. Situated on the east side of Fort Zeelandia. Anping Old Street is also known for its local specialties such as tofu pudding, shrimp and many more delicacies, adding a delightful culinary experience to your historical journey in Tainan. After lunch we continue to the harbor city of Kaohsiung, the most populous city in Southern Taiwan.  Arriving in Kaohsiung, your first stop is Fo Guang Shan Monastery (FGS), a significant Buddhist monastery founded by the Venerable Master Hsing Yun in 1967.  During your visit to Fo Guang Shan Monastery, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with a knowledgeable monk who provides insights into the doctrines and development of Buddhism, which is the most widely practiced religion in Taiwan.  After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

    Kaohsiung - Kenting - Taitung (B)

    After a hearty breakfast, we will visit Taiwan’s first national park, Kenting National Park with scenic landscapes, and rich marine biodiversity.  We will stops at Maopitou, literally cat’s nose, aptly named as it resembles a colossal crouching cat when viewed from afar; Chuanfan Rock, literally sail rock, another distinctive natural or Eluanpi Lighthouse, a Qing Dynasty-era construction that was recognized as one of the Eight Views of Taiwan and Longpan Park, a coral limestone plateau overlooking the Pacific Ocean, exploration of Kenting National Park, your journey will take you to Taitung via the scenic, you’ll enjoy the hot spring resort in Zhiben, Taitung County.

    Taitung – East Coast National Scenic Area – Hualien (B)

    After breakfast, continues to the east coast. You’ll visit Xiaoyeliu, Sanxientai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao, each boasting its own distinctive geological features. The first stop is Xiaoyehliu, or “Little Yehliu, or officially “Fu gang Geopark”.  Your adventure continues with a visit to Sanxientai, or the terrace of the three immortals, cross-sea bridge that connects the mainland to the island, at Shitiping, or stone steps. This area is a well-developed sea erosion terrace.  Next stop is Fanshuliao, a unique canyon often considered a smaller version of Taroko Gorge Marble.  Overinght stay at Taroko National Park.

    Hualien-Taroko George – Taipei (B)

    After breakfast, we will explore the Taroko National Park, home to its famous gorge, created by the Livu River which cuts deep into the mountains of solid marble.  The national park has diverse wildlife and unique geological formations.  Embark at Cimu Bridge, follow to Cimu Bridge.  The next enchanting highlight on your Taroko adventure is the Tunnel of Nine Turns, which is considered the most picturesque section of Taroko Gorge. Next is Swallow Grotto Trail, the distinctive potholes on the cliff surface of groundwater and the swift-flowing river.  You will explore the awe-inspiring Buluowan Suspension Bridge, offering visitors a remarkable vantage point to witness the twists.  Next stop is Eternal Spring Shrine, a memorial shrine built in 1958. Finally, visit one of Taiwan’s renowned “Eight Wonders” –the Qingshui Cliff, offering yet another visual spectacle. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day.  After the tour, travel back to Taipei city for your overnight stay.
