Arrive in Kuala Lumpur, meet with our local representatives, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.

Today, discover Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, affectionately called the “Garden City” for its green spaces amid urban development. Begin your tour with a photo stop at the King’s Palace, the official residence of the Malaysian monarch, and the National Monument and Cenotaph, commemorating those who gave their lives during Malaysia’s emergency period. Pass by Taman Tasik Perdana (Lake Gardens), a serene retreat in the heart of the city. Continue with a quick photo stop at the modern architectural marvel Petronas Twin Towers, the world’s tallest twin towers, and the National Mosque, a symbol of Malaysia’s Islamic heritage. End the tour at Independence Square, and visit Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a stunning example of Moorish architecture, and the world’s tallest flagpole marking Malaysia’s independence from British rule.
- Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands (B)
In the morning, travel north to Cameron Highlands, a serene hill station located 1,542 meters above sea level, known for its refreshing climate, tea plantations, and lush scenery. En route, visit Lata Iskandar Waterfall, a cascading waterfall surrounded by verdant rainforest, and a local native settlement to learn about traditional lifestyles. Upon arrival, enjoy the beauty of Cameron Highlands as you tour the tea plantations and tea factory, where you’ll discover the art of tea-making. Visit the lively marketplace and the unique cactus garden, showcasing the area’s diverse flora.

In the morning, set off to Penang. Stop in Ipoh, and visit the iconic Ipoh Railway Station, including the “Taj Mahal of Ipoh,” and walk through Concubine Lane, once a residential area for the elite, now restored as a bustling hub of shops and eateries. Proceed to Kuala Kangsar, the royal town of Perak, and admire the exquisite architecture of Masjid Ubudiah, one of Malaysia’s most beautiful mosques, and Istana Kenangan, a royal wooden palace. Witness the traditional craft of pottery-making at the Labu Sayong Center, famed for its unique gourd-shaped pots. Cross the Penang Bridge, one of the world’s longest bridges, to arrive at Penang, the “Pearl of the Orient.”

Today, visit the Reclining Buddha Temple, housing the third-largest reclining Buddha statue in the world. Proceed to the Kek Lok Si Temple, a sprawling Buddhist temple complex adorned with intricate carvings, sculptures, and the striking Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas. Explore Fort Cornwallis, the historical site where Captain Francis Light established the first British colony in Penang in 1786. Visit the Clan Jetties, stilted water villages named after the Chinese clans that inhabit them. Stroll along Pitt Street, known as the “Street of Harmony,” where houses of worship from various religions stand side by side, symbolizing peaceful coexistence. Finally, visit Khoo Kongsi, a grand Chinese clan house with intricate designs, before enjoying a breezy trishaw ride through the streets of Georgetown. Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
