Arrive in Rome, meet with our local representatives and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, embark on a panoramic tour of Rome, taking in the city’s iconic landmarks and historical sites. The tour concludes with a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the evening, head to the Trastevere district, known for its charming streets and lively restaurants, before returning to the hotel.

Enjoy a free day to rest, relax, or explore the city.

After breakfast, travel to Florence and head to Piazzale Michelangelo for a panoramic tour with a local guide. Explore the historic center, then spend the afternoon visiting the city’s famous markets ideal for shopping or exploring its renowned museums.

Today, travel to Pisa and take a tourist train to the Piazza Dei Miracoli to admire the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, head to the Ligurian Coast, known for its breathtaking scenery, and visit the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area consists of five villages, largely isolated by road and dependent on fishing and tourism. Travel by train to Vernazza, where the historic Church of Santa Margarita, built in 1318, can be explored. Afterwards, take the train to Levanto and rejoin the coach to continue to Genoa.
Note: The train to Cinque Terre is a regular local railway service, not a tourist service. Sometimes the trains are full (it is not possible to book places on these trains), so it might be necessary, on occasion, to travel standing and not sitting down.

Continue the journey to Santa Margherita Ligure, then take a boat to Portofino, one of Europe’s most exclusive destinations. Enjoy a leisurely stroll by the sea and some free time. After lunch, head to Milan, the vibrant northern city, where a visit to the famous cathedral is recommended.
Note: Due to weather conditions in winter, sometimes the boat to Portofino does not operate, in which case access will be by urban microbus (standard quality service, sometimes with long waiting times).

Today, explore one of Europe’s most picturesque regions, the Italian lakes. Start with a visit to Lake Orta and the medieval town of Orta de San Giulio. Take a train to the town center, then a boat to the Island of San Giulio, home to a peaceful monastery. Next, head to Lake Maggiore and stop in Stresa, where there is an option to visit the Borromean Islands, particularly Isola Bella with its beautiful gardens and palace (closed in winter). In the afternoon, continue the journey to Verona.

In Verona, visit the city of Romeo and Juliet before heading to Venice in the afternoon. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat trip to St. Mark’s Square, followed by a guided stroll around the City of Canals. Anticipate the opportunity to admire the famous glasswork of Murano. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore, perhaps even take a romantic gondola ride.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the homebound flight.
