Day 1:     Arrive Dubai

Upon arrival in Dubai, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You will then have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city.

Day 2:     Dubai (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Then pick up for your private Dubai tour with Burj Khalifa ‘SKY’ experience. Learn about the 19th-century life in Dubai as you weave through the alleys of the Al Fahidi Historical District and visit the Dubai Museum. Board an “abra”, a traditional water taxi that ferried the locals across the Dubai Creek through the years. Walk through the gold and spice souks; Stop by the city’s most photographed mosque, the Jumeirah Mosque. Keep your eyes open all throughout the road trip as you will be passing by the historic Union House Flag where the UAE forged a union almost half a century ago. Take your must-have photo at the Jumeirah Beach with the iconic Burj Al Arab in the background. Finally visit the Luxury viewing deck of Burj Khalifa, the SKY.

Day 3:     Dubai (B/D)

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, take the vintage route and explore the desert and its rich wildlife on board a 1950s Land Rover. A drive through the pristine Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where you will find local exotic wildlife. Experience an exhibition of traditional Arabic coffee and bread-making, and enjoy a luxury dinner under the desert stars.

Day 4:     Dubai (B/D)

Today, you will be transfer to Al Maha Desert Resort for a desert experience. Enjoy activities such as Archery, Falconry, Horse riding, camel trek, nature walk, ghaf tree walk, desert drive, wildlife drive and sun downers.

Day 5:     Dubai – Abu Dhabi (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Pick up for a private tour of the capital city – Abu Dhabi. You will be mesmerized by the grandness of the new addition to Abu Dhabi’s skyline, the majestic Grand Mosque-the third largest mosque in the world. Then visit the Cultural Foundation at the heart of the city next to the famous Union Square, which gathers symbolic themes inspired by the customs of the country. After a drive along the Corniche, visit the Heritage Village, specially designed by the late HH sheikh Zayed Ben Sultan al Nahyan, as reminder of the past for the younger generation. Finally visit to Louvre Museum (except Fri and Monday), then check in for your stay in Abu Dhabi.

Day 6:    Abu Dhabi (B)

Spend the full day at leisure to enjoy the hotels facilities and explore the capital of the UAE.

Day 7:    Abu Dhabi – Dubai – Muscat (B/D)

After breakfast, transfer to Dubai airport for flight to Muscat, Oman. Arrive Muscat, meet by local representative and begin sightseeing. Visit the Nizwa fort which has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient city with its colorful domes and bustling market below. Spend some time in this traditional city and visit the interesting fort with the round tower and the museum and stroll thru the Souq. Nizwa Fort, built by Imam Sultan bin Saif al Ya’arubi in 1668, is the biggest fort in the Arabian Peninsula with an exterior diameter of its circular structure of 150 feet, and over 115 feet high. Drive to Birkat al Mauz. There is a full settlement of clay ruins (ancient houses) that are still partially inhabited and was once very famous for the banana plantations, now more so for the date plantations. One can also see how the traditional irrigation system that was used centuries ago and till date functions as the village uses it to nourish the Oasis. Proceed to drive up to the Jabel Akhdar, or Green Mountain in Arabic (2800 M above sea level). The trip is a 4 WD ride up the precarious mountain side. From here capture the breath-taking views of the ancient mountain range that forms large and small canyons as well as the beautiful terrace farming fields.

Day 8:     Muscat – Wadi Banj Khalid (B/D)

In sharp contrast with desert is Wadi Bani Khalid. The wadi has clear deep blue waters, where the shades of the palm trees are inviting for a relaxing siesta! Catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered all over Wadi Bani Khalid as they cling precariously to the slopes of the rugged mountain-side. Afterwards drive to Wahiba Sands and enjoy an exhilarating round of “dune bashing”. Wahiba Sands is a vast mass of undulating red and white sand dunes rising up to 200 meters and stretching as far as the eye can see. It is also a host to a large variety of flora and fauna and ever-changing patterns of dunes which are a photographer’s delight! The setting in the bare wilderness of the desert emphasizes the beauty of the virgin golden sand dunes surrounding the camp. The camp’s serene environment and simplicity is a wonderful experience after our daily urban lives in the city. Enjoy a traditional Arabic meal, Omani coffee and dates. Sleep sheltered by Bedouin style accommodation under a roof of starry skies and enjoy the once in a lifetime experience!

Day 9:     Muscat – Dubai – Departure (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Sur and visit the fishermen’s harbor where you can witness the fishermen in action. Proceed on to the Dhow building yard. Dhows are traditional Omani wooden fisher boats that are even today, built by hand. Start your journey back to Muscat. Continue via Qalhat where Bibi Miriam’s tomb is located. Proceed to Wadi Shab where beautiful clear pools of the wadi oasis are a serene and rewarding sight in the otherwise barren environment. But first you have to cross by boat and then walk around 45 min. one way to the pools. After visiting the Wadi – proceed to the white beaches of Finns. Also see the Bimah Sinkhole, a natural hole in the round created by a collapsing mountain. The hole is filled with blue-green sea water. Finally, pass through the village of Quriyat, guarded by its 18th century fort and return to Muscat. Drop off at Muscat International Airport for flight to Dubai and connects to your homebound flight.
