After visiting the Plaza, walk the streets of the Historic Colonial District of La Candelaria, to observe its colonial architecture and the district’s different attractions, such as the Botero Museum Colombia s most famous painter, and the House Chorro de Quevedo. The next stop of the tour is Banco de la Republica’s Gold Museum, the home of the world’s largest pre-Hispanic gold work collection with over 1,479 objects. The Museum does not open on Mondays. On Mondays the Gold Museum visit is replaced by the Mint House and the Quinta de Bolivar.
